AT the recent annual meeting of the Notts, Lincs and Derbys Rugby Football Union, Colin Davies of Sleaford Rugby Club was one of 12 regional volunteers recognised for their long term service to the community, rugby and, in particular, support for junior and youth rugby.
Colin Davies was presented with a commemorative tie from Twickenham by the president of the NLD Brian Inglis.

Colin was a founder member of Sleaford RFC and during his teaching career at Carre's Grammar School introduced the game of rugby to numerous children, many of whom have gone on to represent the Sleaford club, Lincolnshire and also the NLD.
