Chevrons take the netball honours

BARGE and Bottle Netball Club hosted their fifth annual tournament at St George's College, Sleaford.
Twenty nine teams entered and were divided into five groups for the morning play.

The host club entered five teams this year, with Hurricanes and Harriers (Under 19) faring the best of the five. Barge Hurricanes won all their matches and Harriers also performed well, with both qualifying to compete in group A for the afternoon.

Of the other three Barge and Bottle teams, Tornadoes qualified to play in group B, Jets in group D and Lightening group E.

Hurricanes went on to finish third overall in the tournament, with Harriers sixth in group A. Tornadoes came fifth in their group, while Jets were sixth in group D and Lightening runners up in their group.

The tournament was won by Hull Chevrons, with Grayton runners up.
