SLEAFORD Netball Club have unveiled their new sports kits.
Club members have undertaken various fundraising activities, such as bag packing and junior discos, which have all contributed towards helping to subsidise the cost of the new netball stri
ps.
Bailey Trailers and Trevor Cope Seeds have sponsored both senior teams and a junior team each, to further subsidise the costs.
Sleaford Netball Club entered their Black team in the Lincoln League for the first time in the summer and came away winning the St Barnabas Charity tournament and the League Two title, remaining unbeaten through the season. The team is now playing in League One for the winter season.
After two games in the higher division, Blacks are still unbeaten. They beat Hykeham Ladies 42 - 15 and Unison 36-9. The team is hoping to gain promotion to the Premier League.
Sleaford Netball Club are also entering their Red team in the Grantham Winter League. Reds start their league games this month.
The club’s Under 12 and Under 14 teams have entered the Lincolnshire County League and their first match will be Saturday, November 27 at St George’s College, Sleaford. The Under 11's will play friendly matches over the season to prepare them for league action when they move up to under 12.
