ALISTER Fuller and Phil Harrison of Time Racing Team have been busy in recent weeks.
The pair took part in the Chesterfield VC open 10 mile time trial held at Hatfield Woodhouse, South Yorkshire.
In only his second open event in 30 years, Alist
er recorded a personal best time of 26mins 39secs to win the first handicap prize.
Phil also recorded a personal best of 25.07 to gain third place on handicap. Alister's next event was a duathlon at Thurlby, near Bourne, where he performed well and finished in the middle of the field.
Phil travelled to Newport Gwent to compete in the British Masters National Track Championships. Phil qualified for the finals after a very competitive heat that produced an average speed of over 28 mph.
The final was even faster, with the average speed reaching over 30mph. Phil put in a great effort to finish in fifth place.
In the following day's 750 metre time trial, Phil gained a top 20 place.
l Louise Day of Fat Birds, a second claim member of Time Racing Team, has also been in action recently.
In the Bedfordshire open 10 TT, with strong, cold winds to contend with, Louise turned in a time of 24.42 to win the ladies' section.
Then, on Sunday, in the Nev Crane Memorial 25-mile time trial, Louise finished second in the ladies' section in a time of 1.05.16.
