A CYCLIST was killed in a road accident last night (Thursday).
The incident occurred at around 5.20pm on the B1209, Moor Lane, Leasingham when the cyclist was involved in a collision with a silver Ford Ka.

The cyclist, a local man aged 36, was declared dead at the scene a short time later.

He was the 34th person to die on Lincolnshire's roads so far this year, compared with a figure of 64 at the same time last year and a full year total in 2007 of 79.

Police are asking for anyone who was in the area about the time of the collision and who may have seen either the Ford Ka or the cyclist to contact the witness hotline on 01522 558855.
