EDITOR-On behalf of the organising committee of the Ruskington Celebration Day, may I take this opportunity to thank all those people who supported this event.

The Celebration Day is meant to showcase the village and the activities that take place here and, judging by many of the comments we have received, it was a resounding success.

It is anticipated that next time High Street will be closed and used for stalls as previously. New legislation now stipulates that three months notice has to be received before this can happen and there was not sufficient time available this year to complete the paperwork.

Thank you for the support of the Sleaford Standard in printing articles and pictures which helped to further publicise the event.

JUDITH KIRK & CAROLINE MORRICE
