17/09/08 - 'Kick it into touch!' Call to stop power plant bid EDITOR - On Monday, September 8, along with my wife, I attended a public meeting held at Kirkby La Thorpe Primary School to voice our opinion concerning the latest planning application by Eco2 for a straw burning power station on Boston Road.

10/09/08 - Straw power plant in wrong place EDITOR – There are currently two applications in for straw burning plants, at Sleaford and Brigg.

03/09/08 - Tesco's scheme is taking wrong turn EDITOR – A formal planning application has now been submitted in respect of the redevelopment of the Advanta Seeds site in Sleaford by Tesco.

03/09/08 - Business group levy is simply undemocratic EDITOR – I take the strongest exception to have been presented with a unilateral demand by North Kesteven District council on behalf of the Sleaford Business Development group for £50 – but will pay it under duress.
